I'm looking for a camo stock for my savage 93r17. Does anyone know where to get one. Or a thumbhole stock that's not all flashy in color. I looked on Boydes site and didn't like any of the stocks they have for it. Any info would be good. Thank you.

I was in your position a few months ago, boyds was the only decent stock I could find. I ended up getting one in the pepper color. I'm really impressed with the build quality. It fit my 9317 perfect. FYI, If you currently have the synthetic stock you will need to buy a trigger guard and mag plate also. boyds and savage both sell them. Savage stock tupperware sucks!!! :twocents:

I think its hard to find stocks that aren't flashy, This place has a thumbhole that isn't too bad.

Check gunbroker.com every few days, I'd say that would be your best bet for finding one. or try calling savage?
