Title: Fnh fnx-40
Post by: NW-GSP on March 18, 2012, 10:54:02 AM: Are any of you familiar with the fnh company? I shot the fnx-40 at the range the other day and really liked it.

Do you conceal carry it? What kind of holster do you have for it.

The fnx is probably tied for 2nd on my top 3. They are a solid gun, I have only ever shot a couple. I did like the ones I shot.

I found that my Blackhawk XD holster works just fine for the FNX. I'm old school, and like the hammer on my FN's. The decocker safety, and the fact that it can be fired double or single action on the first shot, is a nice feature, plus the backstraps are easier to change, too. Personally, I think the FN's are a better gun. :twocents:

I also like the double single action feature. I also like that it is American made.
I was thinking about getting a Glock 40 but after shooting the fnx-40 I'm wanting one.
