Interesting. First the suppressors and now this. Our state politicians are starting to make common sense changes to our gun laws.

Not to thread jack or anything but I'm new to the state. What are the state regs as far as owning the various class 3 firearms? I know suppressors are ok, what about the other stuff?

Welcome to WA. I don't know the answer to your question though. :chuckle: :dunno:

Can someone explain what is going on. I tried reading it and did not understand what it said.

The state is trying to clean up some gun laws to match federal law. Like suppressors used to be illegal in WA. They changed it so that as long as you have the federal approval that you can now use them in this state. This is similar only for short barreled weapons. At least that is my understanding, please correct me if I am wrong.

The Judiciary Chair would not grant a hearing but the prime sponsor assures me he will reintroduce the Bill next session.
