Title: Didn't get my mount back yet, but....

Little FYI too, I took it to Stewart's for processing and had carefully cut the cape around the front haunches, so all they had to do was peel a little back off the neck, hide intact. I told them several times that I was doing a shoulder mount as soon as I walked in the door. Before I realized what they were doing, they made a slit up the FRONT of the cape :yike:
I had to pay an extra $75 to the taxidermist to repair the damage.

Post by: bucklucky on August 03, 2008, 10:07:15 PM: Shoot, half the mounts I do have the brisket slit up to the base of the neck. Simple fix but time consuming. I charge $5.00 an inch for buchered capes like that. You should have kicked them in the nuts Dman!

It's an unnecessary repair that should never have to be made! :twocents:
