Finally got my boat finished. It is a 18.5' bayliner bass boat. Just have to put the new fenders on the trailer. 3 Weeks we head to lake Shasta in California for a bass tournament. Here are Some pics of when I bought it.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tapatalk.com%2Faefdd66e-1067-1a91.jpg&hash=daa8c605837cc7deaf4f456321c6f2c17fec71b0)(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tapatalk.com%2Faefdd66e-10c4-cf42.jpg&hash=83a39090d956e4ea1698ed697abdc86b369534ce)

Nice  Mine is way too dry...
When you say got it ready - what do you mean? Do you do any restoration work?
-
Yup. I tore up all the decking/wood up and replaced it. Then instead of putting carpet back on I put and none skid coating down. It is like truck bed liner but more course I guess you would say. It turned out really good. I was a little skeptical of it but it looks good. This is what is looks like.
-
Do you have any closer pics?
I've seen something similar in the saltwater varieties, and it's always intrigued me. I hate carpet - it's just a pain the rear to keep clean. My only concerns though would be how quiet it is, and how comfortable it'd be standing on that running the TM all day. I've never been able to use a stool, so I'm always planted on my feet.
-
That is the closest I got but I will take some more pics. Get some close ups. We will see how it is standing up all the time soon. I got a guy up the street that just put marine plywood in his with no carpet and he says it is great. He fishes tournaments all the time and has no problems standing on it all day. I did because of living in western WA and all the rain and being damp. A carpet would rot out in a heart beat. With the primer sealer and the deck coating I should be good for quite a few years.

Good job Russ, I hope to fish out of it someday. We'll get you over to Potholes or Banks this summer.
-
Hell yes I am looking forward to the summer now.

Here is the decking close up and the plastic fenders I had to re engineer to fit. The deck is alittle dirty but I thought it turned out well.

Great boat Russ ,now you're not keeping the Force motor on it ,are you ? :chuckle:I could visualize it with nice new Yamaha .... I had one Force 125 hp spare engine that I gave away for $ 200 :bash:those ignition coils are expensive and I had whole bunch of stuff like el.parts .Wish I knew you then .....
-
Yeah I am keeping the engine....that is to bad spare parts are always good to have.

Now the boat is truly done. Had it finally out on the water yesterday. Ran like a top. I was grinning ear to ear. Now to polish it up and a few touch up then on the to California.
