I love vortex optics and a couple years ago emailed them if they were gonna come out with one. True to their word they did. But the price I saw was $499, if you find it for cheaper let me know

Are you talking about the Viper line of rifle scopes or spotting scopes? I'm looking at getting the Viper HD spotting scope (15-45x65 or something like that) and would appreciate some feedback if that is what you're referencing, thanks.

I have the Viper 10x42 binoculars, My Wife has the Diamond Back 10x42 binos, and I also have the Nomad Spotting Scope. All Three optics are awesome and have worked really well for us!!! Love This brand and Love the Life Time warranty with no questions asked. :twocents:

Rifle scopes, every single one I have had, has broke or been returned. Tried the Vortex econo, save a buck route. Never again, I'll keep springing for Leupold and Nightforce. The Vipers suck for the long range game, non repeatable crap. They are fine if you zero them and leave them, when a guy starts spinning knobs they can't hack it.
