Post by: greenhead_killer on April 02, 2012, 04:48:49 PM: this reminds me of the minnesota state record i think it is now. not sure about timetable on it, but a guy found a MONSTER of a bull that got tangled in the mud or whatnot and died. he got to keep and claim as a record of some sorts. someone who knows how find it and post the pic please.

Post by: Swannytheswan on April 12, 2012, 03:39:48 AM: when I was a kid we had a whitetail buck that was huge running around on my parents 69 acres in NY and everyone in the county it seems was hunting him he ended up getting chased into a pond by dogs and got stuck in the mud and died the newspaper said it would have been a state record and that when they found it it had a couple of arrows and a few bullet still in it from the previous hunting season.
