Lamar River in jellystone... I'm thinking about 10 yrs ago, but cant remember for sure. That would SUCK. Be cool to find though! I'll be there this Thursday through Saturday...will be looking hard!

this reminds me of the minnesota state record i think it is now. not sure about timetable on it, but a guy found a MONSTER of a bull that got tangled in the mud or whatnot and died. he got to keep and claim as a record of some sorts. someone who knows how find it and post the pic please.

when I was a kid we had a whitetail buck that was huge running around on my parents 69 acres in NY and everyone in the county it seems was hunting him he ended up getting chased into a pond by dogs and got stuck in the mud and died the newspaper said it would have been a state record and that when they found it it had a couple of arrows and a few bullet still in it from the previous hunting season.

Lewis and Clark reported the locals hauling green buffalo out of the Missouri for consumption during spring breakup. Not high on my list of things to try.

I got this sent to me about three years ago, and if I remember right a guy and his wife from Washington found the elk, they had lots of pics of it and yes very cool.
