Anyone been lately?  is the Discover(how-much-we're-screwing-you) pass necessary?

Just asked the Dayton gamie (good guy by the way) and was told no, the vehicle pass you get wih license is good enough up there.

Just down there today.  Either pass will work in the day/parking areas.  Most people (if not all) had the yellow window passes from WDFW.
