anybody have any suggestions on where to take my boy hunting over in the teanaway area. we were planning on going to my brother place over in deer park to hunt but with easter on sunday we only have saturday to hunt. thanks

I will only say that the birds are down lower this year due to persistent snow on the ridges and higher up. Maybe you can find a bridge across the W. Fork lower down, cross the river and get into the hills from there?

thanks for the info. would be nice to find some birds while there but will still be a blast being out with the boys.

If you don't have any luck with teanaway if you stay on I-90 just go east a little more and go to elk heights got my first longbeard up there. There is quite a few of turkeys up there just get out start calling and they'll answer ya. Good luck! :tup:

the boys did not end up getting any birds but had a tom gobbling non stop for probably an hour and a half or so and had it within 15-20 yds a couple times but no shots. kids had a blast and looking forward to the next time.
