Title: Springers are showing in the Cowlitz!
Post by: HntnFsh on April 05, 2012, 06:23:04 PM: Close to a hundred at the seperator this week. Compared to about 4 or 5 total this year prior to that.

Might have a case of springer fever next week and miss some work.

Post by: HntnFsh on April 10, 2012, 07:26:20 PM: Springer fever set in today.Ended up getting a chrome bright beauty on our first pass. Missed another on the second.Then the water started coming up. Arghhh.... Tried a few other spots and nothing.Decided to freedrift for steel.Ended up getting 3 nice late winters. So A springer and 3 winters in the boat and a springer and 2 steelhead lost.

I love taking time off work for days like this.

Agreed the Cowlitz has no fish, there's no point in going. :chuckle:
