Title: camp pendleton shoots.. new 1911.
Post by: hillbilli on April 06, 2012, 07:45:33 PM
OK well the boss ok'ed sending me to compete in the All-Navy rifle and pistol Competition at camp pendleton.. Which is great, something I have always wanted to do. I went today and picked up a 1911, to practice with, and maybe, if it groups great, to take to Pendleton.. its a basic Phillipine made 1911, called an ATI Military, but generally pretty tight, decent trigger, and less than 500$. Should give me something to practice and get ready with, as I havent shot a 1911 in probably 6 years.. I ran one box through it today, shoots decent, my first three shots at 7yds was one ragged hole. I will now have a super redhawk .44 for sale to cover the cost of this new toy..

Edison Range?  Hope you get to shoot in the morning.  In the afternoon the wind can really pick up.
