Anybody with a squirrel recipe they want to share? BBQ, open fire, crock pot? Maybe one of our members from the southern states, or another area with a tradition of squirrel hunting. Thanks

Squirrel on a stick. Slow roasted over charcoal with mesquite wood smoking chips and your seasonings of choice. Yummy.

Skin, quarter, and fry just like you do chicken  Anything you do with chicken you can do with tree rats
When I go back to Iowa, I'll be bringing home a cooler full or two ,, and maybe a deer or 2..

I'll second the crock pot, they can get kind of tough if you are not careful. I have cooked them using a rabbit hassenpfeffer (sp?) recipe.
