I have a guy thats buying a gun from me in Nebraska. I don't have an FFL license. How do I even go about it? Do I just need an FFL person on the other end? Does someone with an FFL need to ship it for me?
How much am I looking at?
thanks

Not positive, but I think it's FFL to FFL unless it's person to person. Add that to the price.

When you say if its person to person can I just put it in two different boxes and ship it to the person that way?

You can ship it but it must go to an ffl because it is crossing state lines. Some FFL's only want to receive from another FFL but most will receive from an individual. His FFL should send you a copy of his license. I photocopy that and keep a copy for my records. I put his copy along with a copy of my drivers license inside the box. Here is a link to shipping that will help you out.

You need a copy of his receiving dealers ffl. Not all dealers will mail or fax it to you, some request a dealer....but not all and not necessary....its up to his dealer. You can ship it in 30 boxes, but the receiver has to go to an ffl for transfer.
