I would like to put a sling on my .450 bushmaster for the spring bear hunt. What doe you use/recommend?

I have the vtac 2 point sling on all 3 of mine it works great.

Thank you. looks like a good sling.

Botach Tactical makes a higher quality sling than the Vtac, and it's cheaper too.

it is. it is comfortable and easy to use. I have carried my ar's alot out hunting and i like that sling so much better than any of the ones i got on my bolt guns. I wonder if they would work on one of those I cant believe I havent tried it yet.

Do you want a tactical sling, shooting sling, or a carry sling? How is your AR set up for attaching one?
-
I put a couple eyes on mine and carry it just like any other rifle over my shoulder with a normal sling

I prefer a single point sling for a hunting carbine(6.5 Grendel). I use a MagPul ASAP plate/ mount and a MagPul MS2 sling. I have yet to pick up a MS3 but I'll get to it one of these days. The set up is simple comfortable. The carbine hangs center of the chest while glassing, it's at the ready for immediate use and you can break your carbine free of it with one simple pull of the "Bail out" cord.

nice. I will check that out. Sounds great. For this week end I'm just going to use one of my normal slings. I'm using my .450 bushmaster for my spring bear hunt. I really want to kill a bear with it.
