Well, I just love her. She's a super-cutie, she's sharp as a tack, and she's not afraid to ruffle a few feathers. Please let her know I'm a huge fan and will support her as much as I'm able.
And by the way, how the heck do you pronounce her last name now? Like Butler, Butte-ler, Bait-ler, which is it, please?

Reid Ribble (R-WA) Yea[/b]
Ribble is NOT a WA rep, he is a Wisconsin Rep!

So how is using lead more beneficial. If your concerned with only your pocket book then I guess it for you. But look at the overall scheme on how it effect wildlife. We have eliminated it from paints ect... And hunting og certain Natn'l parks is not Conservation in my book? I think they should pass the polar bear part but just not sure about the rest. Thoughts??

I luv Jaime. I was very proud to vote for her. I actually met her after she was elected. She came and took a tour of the plant that i work at.

Lead has very little effect on wildlife. But if you give an inch be ready for them to take a mile.

Well, those observing the trumpeter swan would disagree. There has definitely been an impact on the swans. So, there's a difference between using lead shot for waterfowl and using lead bullets for game. And, there's a different reason for wanting each banned. One is to protect waterfowl and stop the damage being down to bottom-feeders. The other is designed to restrict gun use and limit our hunting opportunities.

(3) Paragraphs (1) and (2) are not intended to authorize or facilitate commodity development, use, or extraction, or motorized recreational access or use.

I happened to turn on C-Span when they were debating this and it was all about the "rider" so I thought it was doomed and being used for other purposes. Glad the real issue of this bill got seperated from the whole buget debate.

We can clearly see who our friends are. If there is a "Nay" next to their name, they do not appear to support hunting or hunter's rights. Vote them out of office.

"Butler" I know she appreciates your support. She was telling me over Easter she was also co sponsoring a bill to remove sea lions below Bonneville that may be a fight we never win but its good to know she is working for the solution I was down around Bonneville over the last few weekends and I watched a sea lion thrash an eight foot sturgeon it looked like a weasel on a rabbit.

There are some good democrats who are friends to hunters, we just need to seek them out and get them elected to replace these anti's.

Dicks is leaving. Says he's been in long enough (35 years) and time to retire.
