Title: BEWARE:WDFW charging wrong prices for Special Hunt Apps!

I purchased a Sheep any ram, any moose, and a goat special hunt application in addition to many other licenses and tags. Guess what? Instead of being charged the $7.10 each special hunt app, I was charged double- $13.70. (The price of a quality special hunt app). I brought this to the attention of the customer service rep who decided to make a phone call....he called WDFW and apparently it is wrong in their system! The guy at WDFW was going to go up the chain to get answers from his boss and then he is suppose to call me back. SO....Beware.

Post by: SilkOnTheDrySide on April 23, 2012, 08:53:23 PM: I had contacted them a few days ago, and apparently they knew about it for bull elk/buck deer, but I didn't know about the OIL's.

EDIT: I just check the regs, the Ram, Sheep, Moose should be 13.20...

I'll have to save the revised version, I guess. Thanks for posting that.

Post by: bobcat on April 23, 2012, 09:40:25 PM: I think what they did is they changed it to show the prices without inluding the dealer fee. I guess it does make it look a lot better. If you just look at the dollar number it's $13 now instead of $15. A savings of $2.00!

Oh, I didn't even notice that 50 cent discrepancy. Ok, now I'm really confused. I give up.

I got a letter in the mail from WDFW yesterday saying I was over-charged and they will be refunding me the difference. :tup:
