Here's my recipe for kabobs

1.5lbs thinly sliced venison steak
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 green onions thinly sliced
1 clove garlic crushed
2 tbs white sugar
1 tbs roasted and crushed sesame seeds
1 tsp pepper

Combine all ingredients and steak in a bowl, refrigerate 4-6hrs

I do! I do!

Make a marinade of Italian salad dressing, some crushed garlic, pepper, a bit of wine or beer

Soak your venison in the marinade for three hours or so, soak your shishkabob skewers during this time, keep the skewers wet...

Sometimes I put a square of smoked bacon between each piece...onion, bacon, deer or elk or bear....I even use duck breast, it is all good...  Other times I throw in some bell pepper if in season, or mushrooms...but the marinade is about the same....

Yum.

Yes John, deer, elk and pork shoulder .. with real pig gut casing... We smoke some prior to freezing and canning, some we do not smoke. Good eats.

Did it tonight. Marinated deer meat in Italian salad dressing overnight. Got some baby spuds and cooked them a bit in a pot of water to get them just a tad soft. Put meat, spuds, mushrooms, bacon and peppers on sticks. Brushed all with olive oil just before placing on the grill. Pretty good for a first time!
