Is anyone scoring any new gear in the off season? I have been watching quite a few people selling stuff. I keep getting the temptation to buy more, but I have way to much right now. Only looking forward to checking out the new Sitka Waterfowl Jacket. If it's less than $500, way less. :bash:

Lots of new stuff for us.
I've already placed my orders for the new Sitka Waterfowl gear. I wish they offered it in more big game clothing I very much like the pattern.
Most excited to try the Kuiu pack. I've been looking for a lighter pack that carries heavy loads well. Haven't gotten to test it yet, but I have high hopes.
New Zink turkey decoys are cool, but a lot heavier than I had expected - not liking that too much.
The new Bear Anarchy has been a blast to shoot. Still not sure if it will over take the Assault or the Invasion as my hunting companion. But it is looking darned good.
New rain gear, arrows, backpack cookwear, fletching, rifle barrel and stock, carbon broadhead blades, string jig...plus many more things to come before we are headed north in the fall.

Im gonna live with what i got, but i might spring for a kuiu undergarment, they look serviceable.

The newest piece will be in the mail from 400out soon. I am buying his rangefinder he had in the classified adds.
-
New arrows are being built up now. New string on the Guardian and a street plated XR 500R for fun in the afternoon.
-
I've picked up 5 1/2 dozen new decoys so far. And I've been building a boat that I'm almost finished with.
-
Looking at an eberlestock pack either the blue widow or the j134 and saving up for the new Athens recluse
-
Been buying up goose decoys wherever I can find deals.......up to 7 dozen so far
-
new bow, new scope and hopefully a rangefinder soon. Need one that goes out to 800 yards. I gotta stop spending money, I will be in debt when i buy my tags/licenses for wa and wy!
-
Carving up more cork teal decoys.

Going with higher quality gear change out. Started out and changed all duck decoys, seaduck, brant as well with slotted bags and correct weights with them all new duck decoys within the last two years. Used 18 Final Approach Snowgoose decoys towards the end of last year. Got birds into them every day I put them out. Yes, they are heavy but the quality allows for less needed. Going to add a few of those and use them a little earlier in the season. Going to add a harvester pack of GHG for field usage and want to change out jackets. Don't know who to go with yet with the jacket, but any advice would be great. I'm anxious to hear about the Sitka ones so somebody please post when they get it.

The Sitka coat didn't look like to bad of deal. I think I saw a price on it of around $249 or somewhere in the ball park. I want to try it on before I jump on buying one. I don't want a tight jacket for waterfowl hunting. I like to jump shoot and walking in waders cooks you, so I want it to breath.
Picked up a new Filson duck hunting hat as well.

I've been really happy with rivers west jackets.

I like the Rivers West jacket, but my Eider jacket has been back twice, due to leaks and broken zippers. They sealed and taped all the seams this last go around.

i'm trying to save up for a dedicated salt marsh gun, but keep nickel and diming myself on other stuff :bash:

New Nikon 550 rangefinder! Sale at cabelas 149. Katedyn hiker and merino wool next. Money tree needs to produce soon!!
-
new truck, hopefully, mini vans dont handle hunting roads well
just got the bow serviced
new broadheads
-
Couple more dozen goose decoys, I am hoping for the new GHG. New boat motor. Lots of things on the list. Lots.
-
I just bought a 16' Mirrocraft with a 35 horse Evinrude, and scored a pair or Cabelas SuperMag Waders. Paid $1500 for the boat, motor and trailer. Paid a hundred for the waders.
Also scored a Avery Camo Dog Boaters Parka in the Bargain Bin at Cabelas for $25.
This will be my first year duck hunting, so I am starting early buying gear so I can take the time to score as many deals as possible on craigslist and other websites/forums etc.
Got a lot of work to do to make this boat a duck boat, and the high humidity and rain sure isnt helping. (No garage)
If theres anyone in the Spokane area that has shop space for rent so I can get out of the weather and get this boat painted and stenciled, please PM me. I want to get it done so I can enjoy some fishing and get to building a blind ASAP.

A lot of my purchases have been through Camofire this year, a Badlands 2200, shirts, pants, knife, tether for my range finder, arrows, and nice Rocky Lynx boots. The one think I got from my local archery shop was a Tight Spot Quiver marked down to 127.95. At the end of the season last year, I did get some Lowa boots, a pair of Vortex binos, and that nice Garmin Rino 655T. I loves me my new and improved gear.
-
I got a new pse bow and all the gear to go with it. For waterfowl I'm going to send some decoys off to have them flocked and painted. Not necessary at all, but looks cool. I'm trying to keep the spending down this year by reprinting a couple dozen over decoys myself. Probably end up spending more...

got the ol' honda 4 stroke 9.9 working! no more baby kota pushing around the lake :IBCOOL:

3 dozen Texas rigs for my GHG pros, 6 more to go. Picked up a mixed case of Blindside in 2 and BB's for a $100 on a closeout at Wally world.
