Title: Truglo Peep Sight
Post by: THunt on May 07, 2012, 05:57:21 AM
Has anyone every used the TruGlo Muzzle-Brite Xtreme with Ghost Universal Sight on their muzzleloader?  I recieved a gun that has this site and wanted to know what everyone thought of it.  It seems like a larger diameter back sight and its not set at the back just where they original dovetail sight was.  How is the accuracy?  Are these a good sight?

Thanks Tyler

Boom has a couple of them and really likes them - myself - I would go another direction...

I tried it and ended up taking it off. I couldn't find any variation in accuracy with or without it. Came down to personal preference and I didn't care for the sight picture. For me I like a smaller sight window in a peep with the aperture closer to my eye. Similar to graduated aperture on a lever action.

Try it. You never know. This kind of thing usually comes down to personal preference.

Yep I have been running the muzzle brite peep and globe sights for years. I have helped more then a few members on here add them to there smoke poles and they all move them. I have one on my black diamond and one on my cva.

I found them to be too bulky.
I really like the Williams peep ghost ring over a fiber optic bead.

Love it! A couple years ago Carpsniperg2 recommended it. I put that system on my Remington ML 700 and it shoots great! Great fiber optics, bright in low light conditions.

I put one on my black dimond. I think it works good when you have time to get it centered. But if you need a fast shot it seems like your looking through a big hole. I think Im going to try the williams peep.

I have the muzzle bright sight on both of my Knight Bighorns.  I really like them.
