Title: Truglo Peep Sight
Post by: THunt on May 07, 2012, 05:57:21 AM: Has anyone every used the TruGlo Muzzle-Brite Xtreme with Ghost Universal Sight on their muzzleloader? I recieved a gun that has this site and wanted to know what everyone thought of it. It seems like a larger diameter back sight and its not set at the back just where they original dovetail sight was. How is the accuracy? Are these a good sight?

Boom has a couple of them and really likes them - myself - I would go another direction...

Post by: fair-chase on May 07, 2012, 11:10:51 AM: I tried it and ended up taking it off. I couldn't find any variation in accuracy with or without it. Came down to personal preference and I didn't care for the sight picture. For me I like a smaller sight window in a peep with the aperture closer to my eye. Similar to graduated aperture on a lever action.

Try it. You never know. This kind of thing usually comes down to personal preference.

Post by: mtman on June 12, 2012, 08:45:31 PM: I put one on my black dimond. I think it works good when you have time to get it centered. But if you need a fast shot it seems like your looking through a big hole. I think Im going to try the williams peep.
