Title: Best Bull Elk permits
Post by: get one leakin on May 16, 2012, 08:33:00 PM
I know its a little late but im still deciding which bull elk permits are the best ones to apply for.  I know the quality elk hunts pretty well but the bull permits im not so sure.  My dad has around 15 points and I have like 7 so we should have a pretty good shot at it.  I was just curious what everyone thinks.  Im thinking goose praire.  We are serious hunters and are not not afraid to hunt hard for a chance at a good bull.  Anyone have any suggestions??

Most of those valley units can be great hunts. It's all about what a guy puts into it. There is elk in all of those units and if you have a tag you can make all of them into good hunts.

I had a cowiche cow tag two years ago and didnt see a bull all season and that seemed to be the general story form who I talked to.  Then again I didnt have a bull tag so I was mainly trying to get my buddy a chance at a spike...
