Got the stock a couple weeks ago and the barrel yesterday...installed last night. Now th ebig stuff is out of the way...on to the little stuff.
Ruger 10/22, Hogue overmolded stock, Tactical Solutions fluted threaded .920 barrel.
Open to input for the internals...trigger, etc.
I'm all ears.

Have you looked at the options available from volquartsen?

Yes I have. I think I want to buy the internal pieces for the trigger rather than the whole VQ trigger group...do the some assembly required thing...the other thing I've not really looked at yet but on youtube, there's some DIY trigger job videos I might try.

Looks like a fun little plinker, a friend put something similar together and it was a lot of fun to shoot, very accurate too.

That's the trigger group I have on my 10/22. 3 1/2 lb tigger pull. It just so happens that I have the exact same barrel. No scope yet. I worked on a butler creek stock so the bigger bull barrel would fit the stock. With a harris bipod. I LOVE the barrel.

A 40 minute base, zeiss 6-24x56 vmv, extended mag release and about 50k rounds of tenex. I love spending others money.

I sent my action and bolt to Randy at CPC . He dropped the trigger to 2 1/2, put in a overtravel stop. Jeweled the bolt, radiused it , dropped the head space and pinned the firing pin. It wasent cheap ($350ish) but well worth it in the accuracy dept.

it looks *censored*, but just one question. Why drop so much money on a .22?

Because he can. ;)

I like to shoot tiny little bug holes with ammo that is cheap. It's a lot better on the wallet than trying to shoot a few hundred rounds of .300 win mag. And I think at this point I only have about half as much $$ in this rifle as I do in my .300
HuntandJeep's got a few more bucks into his than I do for sure. Nice setup!!

Thanks Jakelope. Ya I went a little crazy on mine. Sad part is its still note done still need a better scope and either a Tactical Innovations threaded barrel or have this one threaded
