Title: Botched coyote stalk witha bow on the new place
Post by: saylean on May 20, 2012, 09:50:21 AM
Moved back into the sticks where I was born and raised. Went out to do some burning this morning, looked in the field...YOTE!

Booked for the house, grabbed the bow and headed out. Tried some calling on the edge of the barn, but the yote wouldnt commit.

Had the barn between me and the yote, scooted down toward him. Put on a crawl stalk....got to bout 50 yards...busted...

He slinked off....but I called a bit anyway....gave up.
Went back to burn barrel...glanced over the tree line...he's back!

Put on the stalk again...no luck.

Gonna put the mojo to work with the spitfire soon.
