ok, so, i just got home, ive been fishing since 9am this morning.
i caught the tide change just right, i tried several different baits (squid, herring, shrimp), jigs, darts, whatever.... i fished 5 different spots
rocky drop offs, ledges, sand bars, kelp beds, deep trenches (all from shore of course)
i hit all the spots where ive caught greenling in the past, all my good spots....
all i got ALL FRICKEN DAY was 2 bullhead about 9 inches long WTFFFFF
where are all the fish? ive never had a day this bad before.... no greenling, no flounder, no cod, no lings, nothing!
except 2 fricken bullhead and a sea cumber
i just dont get it
