Title: pistol rifle Q
Post by: Fishaholic on May 26, 2012, 12:46:29 PM: i am looking into buying a Heritage Rough Rider 22/22M 4.75 BL to carry on my trap line and i was wondering if anyone has one and wanted to share how well it works. i also am thinking about a single shot 22 bolt action rifle instead of the pistol any ideas??? i don't want something expensive because its going to get beat up allot.

Post by: winshooter88 on May 26, 2012, 01:25:13 PM: The Heritage Rough Rider pistols are good guns as long as you understand that they are inexpensive guns. They aren't nearly as nice as a Ruger Single-six, but they will function well and are reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.

Post by: FC on May 26, 2012, 03:06:46 PM: I have the same gun you are looking at, buy the one with adjustable sights and I bet you will love it! I had to file down my front sight quite a bit to get the point of impact where I wanted it but the gun functions flawlessly and seems reasonably accurate. The 22m cylinder comes with it and is very quick and easy to change out.
