Title: New Shop in Enumclaw, Rock Creek Archery
Post by: WonkyWapiti on May 26, 2012, 04:26:03 PM: I got an email from my club, Cedar River Bowmen, recently announcing there is a new archery shop in Enumclaw. I went to check it out yesterday and got to meet the owner who seems like a nice guy. The shop has a nice indoor range. Here is a link about the store.

Well after seeing one of my other club members' bows sitting in the shop after being restrung I decided to get new strings myself. I'll let ya know how it turns out.

What kind of strings does he carry?

Post by: WonkyWapiti on May 30, 2012, 09:54:35 PM: I got a call saying my strings are done but I'll probably wait to pick up my bow on Friday so I can hopefully pick up my arrows too. I'll wait to tell you the price until I pick up the bow to make sure there are no surprises. But I can tell you that what I was quoted was significantly cheaper than what I paid for my daughter's Winner's Choice strings that I had put on her bow a couple years ago at Wholesale Sports.

Howdy to buglin4bulls, I haven't been very active at CRB over the past year due to work. I plan on spending alot more time there starting this coming week. I need to be ready for Bownanza!

I'll post a pic tomorrow, this turned out awesome. Denton did a great job! You weren't the one shooting with Don were you? I brought my buddy in who is getting a yellow and blue string on his bow. I can't wait to see how that turns out.

The lighting wasn't that great for these photos, the green is actually a much more neon green color. The photos make the green look a little white washed so to speak. They look really awesome in person and I couldn't be happier.

Post by: coachcw on May 09, 2013, 08:43:25 PM: Denton has been doing my strings for a few years and always pays attention to detail. and preloads the strings aswell. . He knows his stuff and wont put you into the wrong set up . He is working on building inventory in his shop . he is a bowtech dealer and will be setting up my new cpxl aswell . he aslo knows his stuff with the hoyts since he cut his teeth on them . I will be down there tomorrow evening . Give him a try he will do good by you. coach .

Your CPXL was rattling in the box when it arrived. So I just had to open it up and check what was wrong :chuckle: Sweet! Sure doesn't look 35" in length. Had to double check the limbs twice to make sure it was the CPXL. Fixed the bow supports in the box and secured it with some wads of paper so it didn't happen again. Was sort of sad to see it go out the door to Denton so fast :'(. I really wanted to play with it bad! But I was a good boy >:( dangit!

better get m chit in and tuned up for the season!!!!!
