Title: meindl boot care
Post by: BULLBLASTER on May 27, 2012, 07:53:41 PM: i bought some new meindl boots last week and was wondering what people use to treat them? i have mink oil but dont want to screw them up if its the wrong thing to use. i cant find the meindl sport wax anywhere.
any suggestions?

Same here and have had them almost 3 years with no issues

You can refresh it with some of the oil, but LP is the stuff you want.

I put Nikwax on mine, it made them look like they have crap growing on them. Never again. Maybe there's something wrong with my Nikwax but I won't put it on my boots again. I've only ever used mink oil and have had no issues. It makes the infamous Meindl squeak go away for me too.
