Title: non cage traps
Post by: WA hunter14 on May 28, 2012, 07:31:55 AM: is there any other traps legal to use in washington besides cage traps? padded legholds? i see that it says steel jawed leghold, neck snare or other body gripping trap.

This cage trapping has forced a lot of guys including myself to become trap manufacturers. It is not that hard especially if you have a trap to pattern off of.
You should then be able to turn out a decent trap for something in the $30 range. Less for small animals. Small colony traps for like muskrat shouldn't cost anymore then a comparable foot trap or conibear.
