Wish I could, we have an auction on the 10th, sounds like a blast, I havent been to one since I was 15 years old, that one was at millersylvania state park, would have been about 77, back in the Ed Meredith days.
If I can attend one someday I'll volunteer to be a ring man and bid spotter, I can catch a bid at 100 yards (I only take wink bids from ladies though, so if you're a guy raise your card)

Is there going to be a Trapper Ed class again this year? I didn't see it on your schedule. I'm bringing my son.

Mike,
We weren't drinking beer, Ted and I started and finished a fifth of wild turkey and Hannibal was working on his bottle of crown royal.
-
we started with barley pop and washed it down with the bird,,,,,, the full meal deal.
I cant believe i ate the whole thing
-
Yes I remember, just seemed like not as many beer guys this year. OOOOh well, I still have a few in the fridge.
-
It was too cold for beer. I would have enjoyed a hot buttered rum instead!
-
I had rum last year in Omak!!!1
-
never too cold till the alcohol seperates out or makes a bottle burst unopened. then ya switch over . or better yet start the hard stuff early to grease your bidding wheels for the auction then switch over
