Title: Friday at Nairobi National park.... wildlife photos
Post by: Camp David on June 02, 2012, 07:52:49 PM: Landed in Nairobi Kenya on Thursday and hit the park on Friday morning. A short 2.5 hour drive gave me a lot of nice pictures.

Are those windmills in the background (far hillside on right) of the first pic with the Giraffe??? Is there a continent left where you can escape those blasted things???

Post by: Camp David on June 02, 2012, 09:51:48 PM: Just moved here. I'll be here for 4+ years. This park is just outside the city (city in the background) and you can shoot pictures only. It is ~ 170 KM squared. There are numerous parks in Kenya....this just happens to border the city. No Big game hunting in Kenya, but plenty in neighboring countries. There is also a fair amount of bird hunting in Kenya.
