I hope it's enough gun.

Just joking, it's not hers.
It's a custom built ASL .50 bmg single shot bolt action my hunting partner just had built. He topped it with 6.5-25 tactical Leupold. It weighs 38 lbs. and has the recoil of a .243. My 11 year old shot it. You just don't want to stand to the left or right of the gun, the muzzle break baffles moved grass 15 feet to each side of the gun. I have no idea what he plans to do with it, other than he wanted one. It's one bad-ass looking master blaster that's all I know!
Might be good for prairie dog shootin'! I doubt it at $5 a shot.

Awesome!
I know a place where that would be the ticket for shooting bull elk.
-
A buddy of mine has one much like that with the Nightforce scope on it, not sure what he's gonna do with either, he just wanted one.

That would be fun to shoot for sure.
Question for anyone... I keep seeing what look like Harris Bi-pods on these 50's.... Is this a heavier gauge Harris or what?

Sweet!

I think you were supposed to post this in that thread "End of the World Guns"

I sure hope so....My 300win mag acted like it was going to fold my harris in half.

That's for taking an out of state Elk without leaving this state...... :IBCOOL:

I need one of those...

 WOW

Can you hunt with that in Washington, I would love to shoot a deer or elk with it just to say I did. LOL :chuckle:
-
You can use it in Washington, but only on animals in Oregon, Idaho, or BC :chuckle:
-
Wow, that would be a BLAST :chuckle: to shoot

It's a custom-built bipod by the rifle builder. I don't think it's legal in Idaho, Idaho has a weight restriction of I think 20 lbs. I guess another client of the builder of the rifle, shot a whitetail at 1,700 yards. I'm not real big on the long distance stuff.
It is a blast to shoot!
