Family and I were out for a drive when we came accross a bobcat I saw lying on he side of the road. I turned around for a closer look, appeared healthy, before it died. kids are still talking about seeing a "big bobcat". Fur looked nice, a bit thin with summer approaching.

Damn. Don't see many cats other than the hundreds that line hwy 17 through Moses Lake :chuckle:
-
U just leave it?
-
that would make a nice little mount...
I messed up a few years back and left a 2' tall Barred Owl on the side of the road instead of getting it mounted. :bash:
-
Are you serious? All owls are protected and cannot be mounted. (or even possessed)
-
That would be a cool mount!

After talking to a WDFW officer I could have reported it and put in to get it back maybe when they had all the info they wanted...
maybe he was just shining me on...

Oh ok. I was just picturing you picking up the owl off the side of the road and delivering it to your taxidermist. :chuckle:
