Title: A Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is available in shelter
Post by: one more on June 04, 2012, 08:23:13 PM
My daughter just told me about a male Griff that's in the Everette (sp?) Shelter. He was left there because he didn't like jumping into very cold water.  Sounds smart to me, but I guess his owner liked duck hunting.  I don't know anything else about the dog.
I had a Griff years ago,  my daughter has a female now that loves hunting.  When she hears fireworks she wants to find the birds she thinks people are shooting at.  My daughter  thinks I need a dog again, but my husband and our cat don't think so.
I hope someone gets the male Griff.

If only I had the space...........that would be a perfect dog for my family to adopt.

I'd love to have him, but my yard is too small.  I don't like jumping into cold water either--that's why I gave up SCUBA Diving!  :o

I just called the wife and told her what I want for our anniversary next week...  She didn't fall for it...  Then I tried the guilt trick by saying; "We get the breed of dog we want, save a life and a few hundred dollars".  That was a no go as well, I guess having three cats and living in a townhouse it's not ideal.

Hope he finds a good home
