As of a recent press release, http://www.dnr.wa.gov/RecreationEducation/News/Pages/2012_06_01_naneum_nr.aspx
The upcoming Nanuem Ridge State Forest rcreation plan will also include an additional 120,000 acres of WDFW lands in the Colockum.
This could be bad news for the Colockum elk herd, since Pulic lands commissioner Peter Goldmark has such a great relationship, (campaign donations), with several tribes in this state.
