Title: Public wants to buy Merrill Lake
Post by: fireweed on June 08, 2012, 08:56:36 AM: Of all the acquisitions the WDFW is considering, this is the best I've seen. Already has trails, lake, waterfall, oldgrowth, elk, trout, and next to Mt. St. Helens.
They even filmed part of "Last of the Mohicans" and "Northern Exposure" at Kalama Falls. Would be a shame for this to be turned into lots and lodges for the rich.
