Title: second deer central okanogan question
Post by: DoubleJ on June 09, 2012, 03:18:17 PM: Got pulled for second deer in central okanogan. Its an any weapon tag from sep.8-oct.9. My primary tag is archery. I can only make one weekend trip to the area. My question is can i carry a rifle and bow in the field and use my bow if i happen across a legal buck in range or shoot my doe with a rifle if she's out at 200yds?

Here is what it says on page 27:

Post by: bobcat on June 10, 2012, 07:27:57 AM: It's not an any weapon tag. It says "any tag" in the "tag required to apply" column, but that doesn't mean your 2nd tag allows you to use any weapon. Your 2nd tag has to be the same as your first tag. I've never had a 2nd deer tag, but I'm guessing "archery" will be printed on the tag, just like it is on your regular tag.

I don't think that's correct but i may be wrong. regardless, i should have private land lined up by then so it won't be an issue

He's right. Have you read the description for Deer Area 2014?
