Title: Lake Sammamish
Post by: Russ McDonald on June 10, 2012, 03:42:06 PM
Went out this morning with the wife. Hit the lake around 7 am. Went to the far end of the lake. Noticed fish jumping and through they looked like shad. Put and baby bass lip less crank bait first cast out hauled in a nice 16" small mouth. Wife was throwing plastic just about any color and nada. Stopped for a bit to help out and fellow boater. Towed him across the lake back to his slip. Broke boat. Back to the other side of the lake. Put a shad jointed Rapala. Fist cast about and 10" small mouth then later on a 12" small mouth. at around 10 am put and perch colored fat rap. First cast thought I a snag then noticed my line was going across the water. Fish on!!! Hauled in a 18" large mouth bass. Fished till 11 am and called it a day. Boat racing going on on the lake. Wife didn't have any luck at all. Slow but some quality fish. Haven't had fresh water fish in over 7 years for kept them and fried them up.
