The wife and I were drawn for the bull tag this year, planning on hunting the Cowiche side, but see alot of elk on Sedge ridge too. What to do!

Well i have seen nice bulls up both areas but if i had a bull tag for the Cowiche area i would go up the northfork and go up *censored* and hunt Divide Ridge. The meaning behind that is i hunt Rimrock every year for 16 year and every year on opening day of spike season i see all the want to be hunters that drive the jeep roads up towards Divide Ridge and push the herds back over into the Cowiche side and if you seen the back side of Devide Ridge crossing points are limited. I all so have a branch bull tag for Rimrock and if my tag isn't fill by opening day of spike i know where im sitting at a hour before shooting lite. Another spot i would scout Shellneck Creek and Greens Pocket i have seen some really nice bulls in there expecualy if we get some weather i would hit that before spike season. My buddy shot a bull that scored 338 in Greens Pocket last year for archery.
