Title: Not a bad day at rimrock
Post by: Naches Sportsman on June 17, 2012, 08:01:51 PM
Got my limit of kokanee and trout. fished from 7 am to 1 pm releasing all the small silvers under 7". Biggest silver was 9.5" and cutthroat was 18". The silvers are decreasing in size as in 2010 they were averaging 12" for me. Still not a bad day except  for battling the strong wind.

I  was fishing from shore.

Nice job man, haven't been up there in forever fishing. Went this morning to roza and my buddy and i caught 4 springers,  3 of which were keepers

On those kokanee I like to smoke the whole fish then pull out all the meat, mix it with some mayo and some pepper, makes an excellent sandwich!

I have hunted up there a few times and always wanted to fish the lake!
