I got drawn for the Olympic Quality Deer Muzzleloader Nov 1-23 Any Buck. Never been in this unit before but put in for this hunt as I live in Pierce County and wanted to discover some new areas close to home. Well, looks like I got my wish. I am starting my research and wanted to see if anyone had some advice regarding this GMU. I just went out and got a good map of the area and am looking to get out and do some scouting. Any information regarding GMU 621 would be greatly appreciated. Looks like some pretty steep country with lots of thick vegetation. Thanks in advance.

From what I can tell thus far, seems this hunt is smack dab in the middle of the rut. That is a good thing.

You couldn't ask for a better season, that's for sure. Just remember that you'll have company from Nov 15-18, when the modern firearm general season is open. Hopefully you will be done by then. I think the first 10-12 days of November is prime time.
