I've always heard great things about their customer service, now I've experienced it. Sometime last year when hunting afield, I misplaced one of the caps that cover the MOA adjustment dial on my Leupold riflescope. Not exaclty something you would replace the rifle over, but it's nice to know its less likely to be bumped and change the point of impact.
After pouting about it for several months I simply emailed Leupold and asked if they could help out. An agent quickly wrote back and actually asked further clarification questions (ie, glossy or matte) to make sure I'd have the appropriate match. They mailed not one, but two caps to me, free of charge, and quickly. I am most appreciative of their excellent customer service.
I will keep this experience in mind when I consider upgrading my VX-I to a Zeiss Conquest or a Leupold equivelent in the future. Thanks Leupold!

I just had excellent service from them as well. I had purchased a RX-II rangefinder last year and was having some problems with it. I called and talked to a tech, he said to send it in and they would look at it. They checked it out and all though they didn't have the same problems I was they did have some and sent me a new one no questions asked. They didn't ask for proof of purchase or anything. The new one works great. I was about to sell it and buy a Bushnell, but will stick with this one now. Good to hear other people getting good service out of them as well.

Bean counter....I left mine on the hood after sighting in a few years back and they mailed me a replacement set, no charge. I love Leupold!

I've told this story several times, but it bears repeating... I internally fogged my VXII after c.25 years of hard hunting on a belted magnum. They enthusiastically told me to send it in. A couple weeks later I had it back in brand new condition. New objective lens, new seals, new nitrogen charge, polished.... no charge. Love Leupold!

another thing most people don't know about them is that if you call them you can have your scope fitted with turetts that range from 50-1000 yards you just give them the specs on the load that you are shooting. and send them your scope 168 plus tax not bad if you ask me.

And for I think $50.00 they will put any reticle in the scope.

I had them replace a rectile and it was a great experience and not that expensive.

Have any of you used the Leupold lens Pen? They work really well until they dry up. They sent me several new ones because they knew of the issue. They were never able to solve the problem. Elknut1 sent me a new lens pen along with the chemicals vortex use on their lenses. I now refresh the fluids in the lens pen with vortex chems. It works great and I always have clean & clear lenses now.

I took the Eye cup off my 12x40x60 Spotter and lost it? Called Leupold to order a new one and told them I misplaced it while Digiscoping and they sent a new one NO CHARGE!!!

I stripped the screws in my turnet top on my 6x20x50 scope and mailed it in and they replaced the screws and sent me replacement screws as well at no charge.

While I have written at times on this forum that I believe that Leupold value isn't as good as other manufacturers in the sense that you can get better optical quality for less $ in other companies.... one thing I would never argue is the service you get from them. They are truly great there!!!

I lost the eye cup on one of my Nikon scopes I emailed them and they politely said that will be $9.95 plus shipping, it is still missing.

I lost the lens caps for my binos while turkey hunting a couple years ago. I called Leupold to find where I could buy replacements, since Sportsman's Warehouse didn't sell them. 2 days later, there was 2 set of lens caps in my mailbox, overnighted so I would have them in time to hunt the weekend, all at no charge. All I buy now is Leupold.

I have one on my AR, I can't wait....I never knew, thanks. :hunter:

I've got a pair of 12x50 gold ring binos. I've had them for at least ten years :dunno: Anyway, a couple years ago I dropped them on a gravel road, completely my fault, I was taking them off of my neck and just dropped them. Broke the lenses inside, everything was blurry. So I call them, tell them I dropped them, and they told me to send them in and they'd fix them. A week later, I get them back, expecting a bill and a repaired pair of binos. I open the box and theres a brand new pair of binos, a couple of lens pens and a letter of apology for my inconvenience. Leupold customer service is top notch.
