To anyone that has shot or is shooting this bow. Can I get some feedback? I found a decent deal on one today but I don't want to jump the gun....
I shot a carbon element a few days ago so I'm leaning towards that $1300 bow :bash: so I need talked out of it :chuckle:

Check out the vector Turbo. Still shoots 340 like the alpha burner but the cams on the vector are adjustable draw and way smoother to draw. I was going to buy the alpha burner sure glad i waited.

My dad and a buddy have them, they are both very happy with them. They bought them from the archerytalk.com classifieds for $419. I shot it the other day and was supprised at how smooth and quite it was. :twocents:

How decent is your deal on the alpha burner? That would be my biggest concern.
-
The spiral x cam system that the alphaburner uses is my favorite hoyt cam system. But I prefer a bow with more brace height. That said the burned is a good shooting bow!

$350 setup....but the guy backed out.
So I'm buying Dartons new speedbow fully setup. To good of a deal to pass up and I haven't read a bad review on it. Haven't shot it....but I've adapted well to any bow I've owned so I'm not worried about the draw cycle or anything like that

Im not sure i could ever buy a bow without shooting it first. I hope it works out for you.

I never would either. But reviews made me comfortable with it.
To anyone who is interest. The Darton ds-3800 is a sweet bow. The draw is smooth. Vibration is hardly noticable compared to alot of the other "speed bows" ive shot in the last 2 weeks. And its blistering fast for a 60lb bow.
I would confidently say this bow is smoother than the Mathews helim i shot. And on par with the hoyt carbon element. None of the diamonds, bowtechs, martins, or g5's came close.
Im very happy with the bow after 100 arrows through it today. And I'm already grouping good. Just like riding a bike i guess....you never forget

Sounds like you got yourself a shooter hope it works out well for you. Whats the specs on the bow?

33 and sum inch ATA, 62lb draw, 28" draw.
-
Ibo speed?

345-350 ibo.....supposedly the bows shooting in the 320's with hunting arrows. But I'll chrono it next time I head to an archery shot to know for sure.
All i know though is its fast. Its alot faster then my friends 101st airborne
