Just looked at the regs. for this year and it shows opening day as October 22nd which is a Monday. Is that right?
-
I think you were looking at last years. this year it opens on the 20th
-
That is what I thought it should be........must be using a bad bookamrk.
Thanks. I appreciate your help.

I wish they would delete or somehow void last years regs online once they became irrelevant.
remember back in the day when eastside pheasant opened the same day as deer season? what a cluster fudge that was, good luck getting permission to hunt anywhere that weekend.

unless it's changes it's always the second weekend of deer season! Just in time to screw up the deer hunters!!!

I loved the double opener, I usually had my deer hanging in time to catch the pheasant opener at noon. In fact one opening day I shot a buck, 3 pheasants and 5 ducks all on the same piece of property.

Pheasant opener at noon. What a cruel thing that was. I remember going duck hunting in the am and getting yelled at by my father because I couldn't sit still counting down the minutes until I could chase a ringneck. Of course in those days even starting at noon it still only took an hour to limit. :chuckle:
