Post by: Special T on November 12, 2013, 06:22:16 PM
I wanted to start this thread to let more people know about the best archery club that you can join. Silver Arrow Bowmen has been around for over 50 years. We have been at our current location since the early 70's. In the last 5 years our club has had a huge transformation. We now boast more than 100 members. We offer a 50 target walk though course with the most challenging topography with lots of  Up and Down shots. Our Clubhouse features a 12 lane 20 yard/meter indoor range, kitchen, and lounge. Membership is CHEEP! We also have  a Couple of MEMBERS ONLY events each year. $30 a year for individuals, or $40 for families plus $10 initiation. If its been a few years your in for a treat. In rebuilding our course we replaced all 4 of the bridges that cross carpenter creek. We both made the course safer AND added so many targets. If your booking you can shoot all 50 targets in about 2.5 hours.

We do sponsor a 4h shooting group they meet at 6pm on Tuesdays. 2 groups advanced and beginner. We support about 60 kids in that program. It is near full capacity.  We also sponsor a NASP program for home schoolers.

It is true that ANYONE can shoot our course for $2 shoot ALL DAY. We operate on the honor system. So encourage others to pay the way... Our members put in approx 2k man hours a year keeping the club going and putting on events.

Spread the word about our club. We are just 3 miles off I5. We have members from Ferndale to Everett. Come shoot our club and you won't be disappointed.

I might also add that the club has hosted several Hunters ED programs. Both the traditional WDFW ones, and one of our members has put on a couple classes of the International Bow hunters Education Foundation program that is certification in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

We had 211 people at the WSAA multicolor this weekend. We had full lines sat from 7am till 9pm and 7am-5pm today... That doesn't include the NASP lines we had on Thursday to keep room for everyone. Doug, Larry (the new president), Ren, Connie and several others did a great job taking care of people.

Tomorrow evening at 6:30 were are starting Flint Rounds in the club house. 2nd and 4th Monday evening of each month. Flint rounds are an indoor game where you shoot 20 yards and closer up to 4 yards at 2 different target sizes. Its a great way to meet fellow bowmen, and get great practice on your form for shooting. I was a member for 3 years before i participated because i'm a hunter first, and not a "paper puncher". I can tell you it helped my shooting so much I make sure i do it every year now. Come check us out. Membership is cheap and if you just want to come check it out its only $2 per person.

We had a workparty this weekend to prepare for out Bucks Bulls and Boars 3D next weekend. I didnt make it out on the course. Our 20yard target was getting hammered so hard we needed to do something about it. We made and placed a double butt and had to move the other targets aound to make better use of the space. Come check out our 3 D next weekend.

Last Night We had our "End of the Year Banquet" It was about a month later than normal. This is/was a members only Dinner where the Club supplied the Prime Rib Cooked by One of our Members Doug who never lets us down when we need some meat. He smoked the prime rib, and as usual it was awesome! We gave out some awards in addition to our potluck dinner, No shooting at this event just a chance for some good company and a great meal.

We usually have 3 potlucks a year Where the club supplies the Meat and drinks, many people bring in game that they have shot, or fish they have caught.  Our Thanksgiving and Christmas Potlucks we have shooting games for the adults and kids. If you buy a family membership and attend all 3 functions you will nearly get your dues back in the meat you eat!

Come Join us at the club house tomorrow night for some indoor shooting. the 2nd and 4th Monday at 6:30 till...8-9pmi*censored*s open and we shoot an indoor game called Flint rounds. Its fun and great practice. Hope to see you there!

The Club is preparing for the 4/12-4/13 WSAA Safari Shoot.
A Safari Shoot it a paper target shoot with marked yardages. The bulls eye is marked with an orange dot of varing size depending on the distance. This is the first time Silver Arrow will be holding the State Safari shoot. Until recently our course would not accomodate the safari shoot because there are specific yardages  that must be shot in a group. there are 2 groups of targets the feild target, your more standard looking bullsey target, and the animal targets. Here is a basic explanation of the shoot.

Silver Arrow Hosted the WSAA Safari Field shoot this last weekend. We had 168 shooters! Parking was tight but many had a great time. This was the first time Silver Arrow has held the Safari in memory. This was a fantastic turn out and great practice for Redding in CA. I know those who set up the course tried to make this as close a warm up for that shoot as possible.

I have also heard the rumor that We MAY be hosting the WSAA Field shoot. Darrington Archers were scheduled to host the event, however given the Slide at OSO It may be Moved to SAB... Keep tuned for more info.

Had a pretty good turn out this weekend
Lots of arrows were given to the archery gods with the 3 steel target challenge shots on. The course. I shot with Drock425, Dinker, & Addicted2hunting. I had a great time, unfortuantly the steel bear got the best of me and it took 4 shots for me to hit the center.  I hope you come check out the club mid week some time.

The bobcat was a pretty trick shot. You had to shoot under the moose to make the shot and it was set back about 5 additional yards. It made it really hard to judge. There was also a 101 yard shot at a bison, and a sweet challenge shot with a looong downhill slope@ bigfoot.

This was one of our"trick" shot on the course for summerfest this year. You scored on the paper but had to shoot tje ce ter of the bear that was in front of it a few yards. I gave up an arrow to the archery gods on this shot. There is a tricl to being sucessful on it.

This weekend Silver Arrow Bowmen had a carp shoot in the moses lake area. My good buddy hosted us at his house so we made it our base of opperations. SAT we shot on Moses lake and sunday on Winchester lake. We had an array of gear people were using. A home made bow made at one of Curt Brisky's classes, recurves and compounds.

Silver Arrow Bowmen will be offering a the International Bowhunter Education Program course. More details will follow but it typically is 3 evening and a saturday commentment. Likely it will be the 18-23rd  of Aug. I have taken this course by this instructor and he does a great job, is a club member and used to teach Hunters Ed for the state. This certification is accepted pretty much anywhere that an Archery certification is required.
The whole USA, Canada, NewZealand, Europe, Africa, you name it.

The Club held the WSAA Multicolor State shoot. We had over 250 shooters 100 of which were kids in the NASP program. Silver Arrow Bowmen is doing its part Helping future archers compete and have a good experience!

A BIG Thank You to Doug Shoup who took ownership for the event. He took care of the scheduling of line times and set up NASP times during the week so that kids shooting the short distance didn't interfere with Shooters on the weekend.

Our trad shoot was a success aside from our poor planning with it being Superbowl weekend. We had just under 60 shooters on Saturday. My favorite shoot to setup is this one. I setup the string shoot on the upper end of the course. It was so tricky that even I walked past one the targets on the string shoot! there were 17 targets, i shot 16 and i think the next closest were 14 or 15 targets shot at... I could have really done good if the re-curve had gotten some use earlier this year. We also had a vintage muzzy display, Boyers and Arrow smiths present. I even watched the game at the Clubhouse after picking up the course... Great game sad ending.  :'(

Its been a while since Ive posted somthing in here.  It was a little last min but our Club went on a carp shoot on potholes. We stayed at the state park Friday and Sat. Sat morning we went out and shot carp for a while. We mostly found carp near the waterfall N of the park. I got lots of shooting in but only managed to "Boat" one fish and had about 3 pull out.

I think the wind and the Bass tournament that weekend didnt help our sucess %. That night we had a potluck and out of or members that grew up in Iowa ate carp a bunch as a kid. Richard brought his deep fat fryer and some cornmeal.

I have heard all the jokes about frying carp and eatiing the skillet instead and they are not accurate. While I wouldnt put the carp in the same class as Trout, salmon or walley, I think its fair to say they taste some where between a Cod and Tillapia. They are firm with a light fish flavor. Bland but not tasteless like Tillapia. Mind you Carp wont replace salmon at the BBQ or nice meal for my friends/family but it is a meal. Several of our crew thought the deep fryed meat made great tacos...

Its only $25 to join from now till the end of the year for an individual or $30 for a family membership! Between little events like this one, our thanksgiving & Christmas shoot/potlucks, AND end of the year Banquet you get all your cash back in MEAT!

One of the great things about being a member of SAB is having acess to the club house. I went o a members birthday party this last weekend at the club. Rain and weather didnt slow a good time down despite the rolling downpours in the area. Instead of walking the course we just shot inside and played some archery poker! This lucky dog won the pot! Where else can your family shoot for $40 a year & hold private get togethers? The kids bows and a bounce house made it a family friendly event!

We had a Work Party yesterday at the Club. We replace a bunch of target bails that were getting soft. Shouldnt be anymore pass though from the close shots. We replaced Bails on about 5 targets, rebuilt one backstop that got squished by a tree that fell in the wind storm, cut some downed trees to clear trails, and installed a new system to secure the Bails to roof frame. I forgot to take pics but the course it looking pretty good.

In preparation to  hold the WSAA muliticolor indoor shoot in January we did some work. All of our target bails were on mobile casters so that they could be moved around. We decided to do away with them and put them against the back wall. We gained about 3ft I. The shooting range and were able to add 2 shooring lanes. We can now have 14 shooters on the line at a time. Additionally we insulated the back wall improved the lighting and gave everything a base coat of paint. We finished just in time to setup for our thanks giving potluck and turkey shoot.

You could join at the shoot or come to the business meeting First Monday of the month 7pm.... OR you could staple tape/fold your check to a membership form that is located next to the clubhouse front door then deposit into the shoot box if no one is around. show up to the meeting and get your card.

The Bucks Bulls and Board 3D was well attended and the weather seemed to cooperate. Unfortunatly I didnt shoot this weekend. I was the last person in the family to suffer from a 24 hour ish flue bug that has been going around. I thought I had dodged the bullet until I woke up sat morning.
Thankyou for coming and let me know if there was something we did right or need improving on.

This saturday we are having a work party on the range so portions of it may be shut down. Flat range will be open & Since we have 50 targets on 3+miles of trail there will be something open to shoot!

I need to ask for everyones help that has been to one of our shoots or used the walk through course. The Mount Vernon Parks Department is trying to force us out of our lease 4 years early. They want to expand the Gravel pit and wipe out the whole back side of our course taking out aprox 30 of our 50 targets.

Many including myself put a boat load of work into the course with the help of the state Grant from the Washington Recreation Conservation Office (RCO), Firearms & Archery Range Recreation(FARR) Grant that $3 from the conseild weapons permit goes to. http://www.rco.wa.gov/grants/farr.shtml

Here in the NW we have lost a couple of archery courses in the last few years. Our unique terrain and proximity lends us to lots of visitors for the day. We cannot afford to loose more opportunity. If the City and Gravel Pit succeed Silver Arrow wont be able to hold ANY WSAA sanctioned event! In the 10 years Ive been a member we have held the WSAA state 3d a MIN of 3 times. (my memory is a little fuzzy as to how many years ive been a member and how many times ive helped setup the state 3d). I have personally put in well over a thousand documented hours of volunteer time into the club and each year members put in over 2 thousand volunteer hours to keep our range open to the public 350 days a year for a low donation of $2 per person a day. I dont know of ANY other club that is open to the public to the extent Silver Arrow Bowmen is.

We were are very good Terms with the Past Parks & Rec Director Larry Otis and he knew our contribution to the Community. He ran for mayor and lost. As a result (I believe) he is no longer the Director. We need to quickly educate the new mayor and director.

Please take the time to write a polite email letting them know your experience or value of the club and CC our email so we know how many emails they receive. Let them know you value our club and how far you travel to use it!

The gravel pit lies to the east and south of our course. They say we would loose all but 2 targets south of carpenter creek and they want to mine down 50 vertical feet.

To the mayor's office and Parks Department:
"Dear Sirs,

I'm writing in protest of attempts by your city and parks department to violate your agreement with Silver Arrow Bowman, a lease agreement which still has another four (4) years left. Besides violating the lease agreement, this will drastically and negatively affect the club (a club which operates almost every day of the year), and your community as a whole. Additionally, the State Recreation Conservation Office awarded a 10-year grant to the Bowmen based on that agreement. Your actions will force Silver Arrow to violate that grant and I doubt seriously that the state will take this sitting down.

I personally drive from Vancouver, WA twice a year to attend shoots. While in Mt. Vernon, I spend money with your local merchants on food, gas, and anything else I need while I'm there, and I'm not alone. The range attracts at least hundreds of outsiders/tourist into Mt. Vernon each year for these events.  Also, the shooting sports are an important part of our nation's heritage and Silver Bowmen offers a quality, safe, and affordable recreation opportunity for your youth, community, and visitors for an extremely low fee.

This is a huge mistake and a great disservice to your community, all in the name of more gravel. It's unfortunate that your city's lack of foresight and planning puts you in a bind. But, that's not the fault of Silver Arrow. I ask you to immediately reconsider your actions in this regard and look for other solutions which don't include breaking the lease and harming your community, both the businesses and recreating public. In lieu of your reconsideration, I will contact every merchant I have visited in your city to make sure they understand why they'll be losing my future business and that of many others.

Thank you for your consideration of my comments. I request the courtesy of a reply when you make your final decision on the matter."

A quick update. There was a short conversation with the parks director who is on 45 days on the job from Anacortes & a military retiree. The vibe we got was that since he is new to the job and area he doesnt have the lay of the land. My hope is that many emails to him and the mayor will enlighten them.

It is also my hunch that Martin Merita Materials (a large national company) may belive with a new mayor and parks director now is the time to put the squeeze on the range.

Thankyou pman for your professional letter of support, & anyone else has taken the time to help educate these 2 new city leaders.

That  has happened a couple times before ..I will send an email too .......! Only place left in the valley where we can enjoy shooting our bows .. The parks and recreation should understand more than anyone !!!  You would think !

Times in this valley are seriously changing ..They do not want us doing anything that we enjoy doing ..Used to drive in the mountains and enjoy the scenery ..hunt almost anywhere you wanted ..they are slowly shutting us down on everything ...I hear the echo of the East Coast calling me ...Come home, come home !! :dunno:

I wanted to give a big THANK YOU! To all of you who wrote the MV mayor and parks director Bill King. Our president and couple of officers meet with the mayor and King. I'm proud to report that King reported he recieved over 100 emails regaurding the club! While my name was omitted the SAB officers were asked to not inflame the situation by posting on social media. Fortunately I'm no longer an officer and can say whatever I like (but I was an officer for many years).  The mayor and King wanted the officers to sign some paperwork altering our lease. They were quite taken back at the responce of the officers. "Our lawyer has told us to sign nothing but we'll get back to you." Apparently they thought we were gona bring a knife to a gunfight or something.

If you are  a City of Mount Vernon  resident and use the course please join! Memberships are HALF PRICE! A family membership from now till the end of the year is $30 $10 of that is the initiation fee. A single membership is $25. The residents of MV vote for the mayor and city council  they pay attention.

I wanted give an update as to our wrangling with the City parks department.  We have agreed upon a deal that has minimal impact on our course. We will only need to move 2 targets slightly. This deal came about  after much wrangling with the City. Several attempts were made by Bill King and the city to get the club to enter agreements that would undermine our legal lease. Fortunately  we were able to assess the quality of character we were dealing with and made sure we did nothing without our lawyer. While it cost us come $ we are in a good position till the end of our lease. Another 5years or so.

We are upping our game at Silver Arrow to do more community outreach so that more Mount Vernon residents know of the service we provide...

One of our members has been working hard on a cool phone app for the Club. Avenza Maps is a free app you can get for your phone. You can upload homade maps and waypoints for others to download and use. The Pic is our rough draft of the map you can download for FREE of our course. We've been playing with it and it works well. It isn't accurate enough to tell you how far you are to the target bump puts you with in 5 yards or so of your true location. This will make it easy to find your designated starting targets for shotgun starts, and make a course map available to anyone with the down load.  We hope to have the updated map loaded soon. Additionally there will be some new signage going in with printed maps and a QR code (square bar code) to take you directly to where you need to download the interactive map. Give this a test and I'll report back when we have the new map up and going.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170606/b0d625906f9a0d2101e2aaeab138d6c1.jpg)

Believe it or not our best attendance for 3d shoots are in the first 4 months of the year.  This year we held the WSAA feild shoot, last weekend I believe a paper target shoot, and that took up part of the schedule. It takes a lot of work to set up the 3d shoots and our core group of volunteers are busy with life.

Each year in October the WSAA has a convention and they seek clubs out/ to hold the different state sanctioned to events. Often times we out in for the State 3D but we have held it so many times it's been other clubs time in the rotation.

The club has a good mix of hunters, target shooters, and Tradtional shooters so we try to do something for each of the groups.

I understand I'm a 3d fan myself and don't get as excited about papershoots. To do a 30 target 3d setup probably takes 6-8 guys 5 hours to setup... and it can take 2 guys several hours just to setup moving targets if we set those up. Unfortunately there arnt a lot of people who can't take off or have Fridays off to setup.

So I've been playing with the Avenza App Map  for the club, and overall it's working pretty good. I've found that down in the bottom of the valley is where it is  the least accurate. Not really a shocker I know... aside from about 5 targets it's pretty accurate. Of the 5 that it doesn't work as well it still puts you close enough to find a target butt or stake with a number on it to refine where you are at. Shouldn't be too difficult just looking at the map.

Any thoughts on the map or course is appreciated!

Enjoy  shooting the course I do!

If you live in the City of Mount Vernon and are not a member but shoot the course we NEED your support through membership. This isn't about the $, or trying to Shanghi you into working at the club.  We need you to increase our pull with the mayor and city Council.  If you have a fiend/fellow shooter encourage them to join or give them a gift so that we can reinforce the good work the club does providing the community with a place to shoot.

Silver Arrow Bowmen wants to extend  a special offer to all City of Mount Vernon residents.  We want you as a new member!  Next year membership prices are going up but we would like to give you the old price for our yearly membership with no initiation fee! $30 for an Individual or $40 for a family. As an added bonus when you join you can shoot the rest of 2017 for free!

Here is how to join. Come to one  of our business meetings, the first Monday of the month. At the meeting you can pay by cash, check or credit card.  If you can't make a meeting stop by the clubhouse and fill out an application, attach a check and place it in the shoot box by the door. We will mail you your membership card.

As a member you can shoot the outdoor course as much as you want anytime it is open.  The course is open nearly 350 days a year during daylight hours. Use the flat range after dark using the quarter fed lights. Attend club events like the Turkey and Christmas shoots where we have a potluck and play shooting games afterwards. Join us for our indoor league shooting, just for fun, the competion, or practice.  Meet other Archers from the area. We have a good mix of families, competitive shooters, hunters, and Traditional shooters.

Good time at the Clubhouse. Got to shoot an amazing Ben Pierce and old Bear. Not something a lefty like me gets the opportunity to do often. Also got to shoot a local bowyers bow. Nice but a little heavy for late in the evening.

Did some lights out, lighted knock  glow stick shooting.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171115/b1f5b7f03f4d74c2ab0df8e434be6ddc.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171115/25a16abf75c619c3e43866534c991a6e.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171115/a6fcf50750ba437cdf4049bfad5b5960.jpg)

Yes just be quiet and polite so as not to mess with everyone else that is.

Can't tell you how many times some one has said "hey guys it's 40 yards"  at something just less than a yell. Perhaps this part of the standard banter can be done at a subdued volume...

Hope to see you there and have a good time.

Silver Arrow has some new targets!
To our knowledge we are the only club in the PNW with a T Rex target!
The targets are made in Africa and brought back From Redding California from the shoot. I'm certain they will be out for our hunter warm-up this summer for our next/last 3d of the year!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180508/20e9ff2bb5b49b65d3edf7932600c396.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180508/9fcc0ded1edf29ba24ce4f3a0e23ca7c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180508/67a34bd9f5d57773ca188f556b52013f.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180508/9cdad8f1488c1ec7b2c572c1d01b8c8d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180508/8877eef1df44e6fcc9230e03c27fffd9.jpg)

Today was National Archery day. Silver Arrow celebrated it with a yearly banquet. It was decided that this year would be a less formal affair. We had an afternoon of shooting and BBQing.
John Moore recived the Presidents award for his hard work diving into all the meticulous matters in paperwork for the club. Finances, insurance, and representing us at the WSAA on the Tournament Committe.
Thank You for your hard work John!

Also got to hear about a past member whom used to work for the Fisheries department and left his coffie cup at the club.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180513/559ffd9bdfdce9b88232a17c6098223e.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180513/158899551097d832f212bf51eeb2ff87.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180513/ecef04c9c452e8da28ec10239e362507.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180513/4a9808c84dcf6937660b65a45d389fbd.jpg)

The club had a good shoot! Helped me get ready for deer season. Had Cutting edge sharpen my knife that I abused. Russ used a water bathstone to put an edge on it and not heat it up. I saw that he had a bunch of knives and machetes that he did for folks, and put a much needed edge on a bunch of the clubs culterly. He is a club member and I'm happy with his work.

If you are an archery club consider inviting his mobile operatoration to you shoot.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180820/4e4076275e5ad31cb4241933dbff172b.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180820/feb1fa2c8856161fb0b6377b13ec8fc6.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180820/61e7f0feff5bb1acfdaf67f9040a78b4.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180820/cadc85f19eb980190384ccd63c0d6f9c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180820/61a3d72223a141fca8c02a902614c1fb.jpg)

Silver Arrow Bowmen will be hosting a Traditional Only night starting Tuesday October 9th 630pm-8ish longbows or recurve of any manufacturer, no training wheels.

This is inside and there plenty of opportunity to try out each others bows and get to know each other. Often times we will play games. If your a south paw like me you may even be fortunate enough to try out one of Chucks bows. Not a lot of us around to share...

Hope to see you at one of these weekly shoots!

We are having a Work Party Saturday October 20th 9am. Lunch will be provided, Taco Soup. This would be a good time to meet some archers in your area, and to log some hours to earn your key to the indoor range/clubhouse. We will be working on various activities inside and outside. Inside we will be replacing the Pacific bow butts and outside  we likely need to rebuild some outdoor target butts. gloves, rechargeable drills/impacts with bits, and possibly a skookum weed wacker to knock down blackberries and other stuff on the edge of the flat range.

We had our Christmas party tonight. We have a potluck and the club provides the meat. Turkey, ham, Prime Rib were in abundance and I bet you can come close to eating your membership fees in Prime rib. We had some shooting games after dinner. Now is a great time to join because you can buy next years membership and start shooting today.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181217/130e2ace391aa34bbc3e24502ca04540.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181217/2943aae2365389399835156cde7550eb.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181217/554cb0686ed18905372f1dc943493ef5.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181217/8f417a02bfac7319b5cac43fdb2e966f.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181217/70700576679540f005edf77204dd7d04.jpg)

Should be a good shoot. Didnt get all the targets out  so the shoot will be 2 trips through the 18 targets.   Should be a fair bit of snow tomorrow. We will make sure that there is plenty of hot coffee and coco  and the clubhouse will be warm... I wanted to post this up because the R2AK just started. TEAM PERSEVERANCE  is a life member of the Club, and Doug was a past president. He is using a combo rowing sailing rig. Wish him well and to check out the location of all participants go to.

June 29-30 marked yardage 3D+ Money Class

This will be a Marked 3D event with 30 targets laid  out over the front and back courses. As this is a marked event, range finders will be allowed. In addition to our regular 3D shoot, we are going to try an Money class. This will be open to all shooters and style with a min age of 18 to participate. This will be a $20 additional charge with a minimum of 3 payouts, depending on the number of shooters with a minimum entry of 10, so the more shooters more payouts. By participating in the money shoot you will not be eligible for trophies.

To be eligible for awards or participate in the money shoot you must shoot both days. Money class shooters must shoot with at least one other shooter for scoring validation. (More on this likely, watch for a update)

Sat: 7:30 1:30 open registration

Sun: 7:30 - 8:15 open registration / flighting

         9:00am Shotgun Start

Scoring will consist of total score over both days, top score finishing 1st in either event.

We will try to have all targets with a 12 ring as 12’s will be in play.

Watch for updates

~Ross

Trad night Tuesdays 630pm till 830.

No wheels just sticks and strings.

Great group of guys and as a south paw I've had the opportunity to shoot some cool bows that otherwise I wouldn't have been able to. Indoor shooting and often times  after some warm up games are paid.  My personal favorite is battle ship.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191010/d515623fc7eb37b98f064ade0db5de4c.jpg)

There’s still room!
This is your opportunity to give tournament archery a try with ZERO pressure
-Work with archers and coaches who have years of experience in each tournament type
-Actually shoot and score your own arrows to learn how it works
-Ask questions!
-Meet other new archers
(and way less time commitment than driving to 4 different tournaments)
This is for archers of all ages! Register the whole family.
