R.I.P Charlie .. Well I have shock collars on my dogs So they do not leave my yard . Today the collar goes dead and there goes my dog ! You would think that the person would have the courtesy to call me and say they hit my dog ... he is in a better place and I know he is chasing rabbits as I know how many times I have watched him dreaming as he sleeps and starts howling ! Dang it ! Sad day for sure !

Sorry to hear. :'( This happened to one of my dogs long ago and someone gave me a description of the car. I hunted that car for a week.

Man, that sucks. Sorry for your loss, a lot of us have been there too over the years, sure does not get any easier. No one knows why or how someone can hit a pet/family member and not figure out who needs to be notified. Again, sorry.

Sorry for your loss. It is tough!
At least you didn't watch it happen, as has been the case for me with 4 dogs. I lived on a state highway, busy road.

:'( That is sad news. Sorry for your loss.
My neighbor has an invisible fence and the dog's collar is broken but the dog still is so conditioned that he doesn't usually step outside of the yard. One day I was walking past and the dog wanted to come greet me and he inched past the cable (they just have it laying on top of the ground). It was funny he just tip-toed out past the cable and got petted and then went scurrying back real quick.
