Title: topo scouting
Post by: mendozer on September 12, 2016, 10:30:23 PM
I wish I had more time to hunt, but my friend doesn't take enough time off, so do 2-3 day hunts on weekends. I'm looking in the colockum area at topo since that's the only place we've seen them before. I am trying to decide whether it's better to pick thickets closer to roads for them to be or brown ridges and slightly green valleys far from roads. Protection tells me the thickets but hunting pressure tells me the isolated areas.

thoughts?
