Title: Help Needed! Habitat Restoration Project TOMORROW!!
Post by: shortylynnie on April 07, 2017, 02:08:49 PM
The snow is coming off the hill, and planting season is here! Join us as we enhance Mule Deer winter habitat on the Home Water Preserve. Fires in 2012 and 2015 burned much of the shrub cover and forage. Chelan PUD obtained an MDF grant to purchase 1,000 shrub plugs for planting this spring on this important piece of winter range. Hope to see you on the hill Sat. April 8. Please contact me if you are planning on coming so I can make sure to have enough donuts, coffee, and shovels for everyone!  ☺

Try Derby Canyon natives in Cashmere or plants of the wild in Tekoa
