I just looked at my multi season status on the wdfw web site and it says not submitted. Did I get screwed or what?
-
Well did you submit it after you purchased the application?

I bought it early on when the system was new. It didn't give the option. It said also if you applied as an individual it was submitted automatically.
-
Don't worry, you're fine.

snowshoes22 - I hope you did not make the mistake I almost made, I selected multi season deer individual, paid and printed receipt but I forgot to hit submit button. fortunately I caught the mistake later. :dunno:

What was the mistake? An individual doesn't need to submit the application unless he wants points only.

The new system gave the option to submit your application after you bought it. And it was to submit it as an individual without points option. I know that it clearly says you are automatically submitted once purchased but i covered my bases and submitted it online also.

I know in years past that if you didn't submit it after you purchased it that they automatically entered you in but after the spring bear draw it'll be interesting to see what happens. They had to run the bear draw twice because 4 people who bought applications didn't choose any hunt choice or the ghost point option either. But that was also 2 groups of 2 so that may be why. I would imagine they have fixed that by now but who knows anymore.

As Bob said everything is fine. Just checked mine and it also said Not Submitted. Called WDFW and they said we're ok and are in the drawing.

Wait what? I was told they don't do points only anymore when I called so I didn't submit multi season this year because I didn't want to draw in WA this year.

You were told wrong. I submitted for points only.

Again, as has already been said, you do not need to submit your application.
