Turkey and deer yes, places I don't hunt, as for elk, you are on your own. :yike:

I agree that for turkeys especially getting some permission isn't overwhelmingly hard, a little harder for deer, and of course, good luck for elk! but I think what is conveyed in the article is the fact that the locals welcome hunters...you can wear camo in town and nobody will yell at you about being a "murderer" unlike living on the west side of the state...I'll gladly spend my money in the small towns like Colville and Chewelah over any of the cities in the Puget Sound area, especially King Co! (and yes, I do spend money in King Co...because I have too, not because I want too...)
