Title: Mt.Whittier
Post by: olesmokey on July 06, 2017, 09:52:31 AM
Anyone out there done the Mt. Whittier hunt?  I drew the archery hunt tag.  Just interested in hearing your story.  Planning on boating Coldwater and hiking into My Whittier/colwater cr. basin and getting after em.
Look forward to hearing your experience.

Drew the Magaret tag 2 years ago and hunted the area that is now Norway Pass. I also boated Coldwater and walked up the trail. I can't tell you how many big bulls were down in the hole below Snow Lake, it was crazy. I would just sit on the trail and daydream about having that tag. You should do well

I sure liked the walk around Cold Water. Really added to the experience.  :chuckle:
There are some nice bulls in there. Make sure you get your scouting in and go deep if you're able. Great opportunity for you and good luck.
