:) any body know the best place to get a deal?
thanks
Carl

Best prices I've found are on eBay.
-
Optics Planet. They usually have a 10% coupon, free shipping, and no sales tax.
-
:yeah:
-
My last two came from a member on here but the last new ones I bought were from Optics Planet. No issues and a good price at the time.
-
Optics planet always seems to have the best prices!

Volunteer to become a Hunter Ed instructor!!!
Many companies (Leupold/Burris/Vortex/etc.) give amazing discounts to active instructors.
Hunters get a benefit too as, with more instructors, more classes can be offered.
Just sayin'...
-
Which scope you looking for??
-
I would also search gunbroker, I have gotten many deals there.
-
B&H Photo is worth a look. I got a good deal on a 3-9X40 about year ago.
-
:)ordered a VX3i 4.5X14X40, 30mm tube, side focus. wanted a 1 inch tube but apparently Leupold no longer offers that in this specific scope. Got scope rings too, saved 10% due to Labor Day.
Thanks

I think I can pick those up for $394ish. At least that is what 170699 goes for... Hope you didn't get too beat up on the price.

It might be a little late for this suggestion, but I've had good luck using Predator Optics and will use them again.
-
Amazon

"I think I can pick those up for $394ish. At least that is what 170699 goes for... Hope you didn't get too beat up on the price." figures!! :chuckle: not too bad tho, right at 500 with the new rings. free shipping.
Carl
I do not shop at Amazon

Best prices I've found are on eBay.
Watch out on eBay as their are many fake Leupolds on their. I purchased one off of ebay and had to send it in for repair and was notified it was a fake.

Dang. I wondered about that. Keep passing that experience on for sure helping others. That sucks feel for you.

Worth a phone call to optics planet - sometimes they will give another break over phone vs just online.

eBay & Amazon are the good places to buy Leupold scopes. But, check carefully, if you don't want to buy a Chinese scope (https://shootingmystery.com/best-1-6x-scopes/). ;)
-
Tagging ;)
-
All manufactures have protected pricing that retailers can't go below. New retailers like GoHunt give a % of purchase price back in credit to be used on their Website. So you might look at them. Get a good non Chinese Leupold and end up with something else for free.

I bought one of my scopes, 3x9x40 VXII scopes at Wal-Mart years ago that was red tagged for $200. They had one left which was the display scope. Ended up talking to the manager and got it for $150.
